New communal heating & hot water system installed in extra care housing scheme.

Elderly residents delighted.

White Willows is an extra care housing scheme of 60 flats in Sheffield.

The project scope was to install new heating and hot water system around the existing boilers and hot water plant then complete a swap over so the building had a continuity of heating and hot water though out the project. 

The project also included the installation of a new control panel with integrated building management system.

The routing of the flue was an issue during the project, the choice was to exit the flue through the roof or a wall exit, the clients preferred option was the roof. After considering all the options the decision was to exit through the wall. This installation was achieved on time and to budget.  #ashley&mcdonough

Following a tender exercise led by Fusion21 via the Heating & Renewables Framework, Ashley & McDonough has been selected by Your Housing Group to carry out the servicing, maintenance, and installation of commercial heating systems, air-conditioning systems, ASHP, solar panels, heat recovery units, heat interface units, catering and laundry appliances. The contract will start on 1st July and will run for 3 years.
